Hi, My name is Ken and I own Wormman.com. I saw the post blasting us for not shipping your order. I just wanted to see if you recieved it and if you were happy with it? It appears that you did get it, but I want to be sure. I do care about my customers and I want to make sure you have been serviced properly. Thanks!! Ken
Hello, I saw your post on Shannon Wheeler's LJ, and thought, given your name and icon, that you might be interested in a web forum for discussing cephalopods: http://www.tonmo.com -- I'm not sure how to write this without sounding like spam, but I don't have any ulterior motive except liking TONMO to have as many squid-lovers as possible (although I am on the unpaid staff there.) Anyway, cheers, and I hope this unsolicited comment isn't bothersome...
(It also sort of fits in with the "reach out to strangers" aspect of the discussion about Shannon's experience with taking the stranger to the hospital, now that I think about it...)
Hi. I was just looking at people's responses in the poll at lecollage, and I wanted to let you know that requests are always, always open at lecollage. It isn't that they're too much for me, but TONS of people have made requests, and I only post about three batches of icons per work, so it is taking a while to work my way through the requests that are ALREADY there. But new requests can be made at any time, and they will be gotten around to ASAP. Have you made a request? I looked through the request post, and I didn't see one from you. If you have a request, please do make one on the request post! (: (: Here you go:
My last eight icon posts have been requests, and though I kind of want to do some of my own artists for a change, I plan to continue doing requests for a while, just to try to knock out some more of the requests and lighten the load. (: But new requests are always accepted and appreciated. I love it when people make requests of me, honestly, even if it takes a while for me to complete them.
Thanks so much for your input and support, and I hope you continue to be an active member at lecollage! (:
I love your writing! I'm moving to TN in october, and found you from someone else. Also, the pix of the girls holding bugs are FABULOUS, where are they from? Who is the artist? I'd love to see what doesn't fit in the LJ picture box. thx, JoAnna
Can I add you? I'm from poor_skills. I commented on your recent post. It might pop up in your email. At least there is someone on there that has common sense, *sheesh*!
Irene, i forgive you for the comment you made about my father and my relationahip..you truly had no idea at the situation but you were dead wrong. hope you are well. stephanie
Hello squid_ink, would you like to become LJ Friends with me? I like your attitude to science in the garden.
I've hesitated to contact you, because recently I've been ill (multiple sclerosis in relapse) and my recent Friends-only posts have been mostly about that. But gardening has been cheering me up greatly! and when in remission I'll have plenty to say about my allotment.
My big apple tree and the three saplings have all bloomed now.
I'm worried about them though: How warm does it have to be before the bees can do a good job pollenating a fruit tree? I have had to mow the grass while wearing a jacket this week. I think the weather has also caused many of my daffodils to fail to make seeds this year. The plants have set these huge seed pods which have nothing in them. (Perhaps it's because of too much rain?) :(
